Job Title: Beverage Technician (Coffee & Espresso Equipment
Reports To: Director of Operations

Summary: This position is designed to maximize equipment efficiency, provide service to our local customers and organize and install equipment for new customers.
The service representative will be responsible for the implementation of service and maintenance programs in the local territory.
This position requires a high level of customer service, as well as developing a network of contacts in the assigned territory.
This position is an Outside Service position and will require that you work customarily and regularly away from the work site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Maximize equipment efficiency of local customers by creating maintenance programs for them to follow.
Coordinate all installations and equipment removals for the area.
Responsible for ordering equipment parts approved by the Director of Operations as needed for repairs or installations.
Develop and maintain business relationships with vendors.
Responsible for ordering all maintenance items to ensure that we have adequate inventory of screens, gaskets, and other parts. Communicate with the Sales and Training staff to ensure that all departments are on the same page as it relates to installs and service.
Responsible for maintaining and communicating all service repairs to the office for charging to the customer.
Extensive travel within each key marketing territory and other special destinations as required.
Must be professional in appearance and manner, and be able to work well under pressure.
Must believe in the importance of customer service and be able to provide great service to all of our wholesale accounts.
Compliance with all personnel policies.
Other duties as assigned.
This position does not have direct reports.
Some mechanical experience required.
Espresso and drip machine knowledge preferred.
General math skills including, but not limited to basic, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and present solutions in an effort to meet the customers needs.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
Language Ability: Ability to read, and write general business communications.

Work Schedule: Must be willing to work flexible hours when needed, but the majority of the work is performed Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.
