Human Resources Coordinator

This position provides administrative support in functional areas of the human resources department, which include human resources general customer service support for employees, recruiting, benefits and compliance. The position also provides technical and administrative support for the Human Resources department in overseeing personnel records, generating reports and ensuring compliance according to agency, state, federal and accreditation requirements.

Essential Job Functions: (This is not the job description in its entirety)

  • Familiar with and oriented to HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain agency filing system for the Human Resources Department including filing records, retrieve files as necessary, maintain file space, prepare files for scanning, fax and photocopy files as requested, purge old/terminated files.
  • Ensures HR record and other required documentation are in compliance with JCAHO standards, relevant funding sources, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA and other applicable statutes and regulations related to Human Resources.
  • Respond to and assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests by processing HR support tickets and relevant tasks in a timely manner.
  • Provide customer service support to employees, providing information about relevant personnel policies and regulations as needed.
  • Track employee information for the following (CPR, Food handler, TB Tests, Driving records and I-9).
  • Maintain license, credentials, and registration status on all clinical staff. Providing appropriate and timely reminders to ensure compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience


  • 3 years of HR experience
  • 1 year of Customer Service experience
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks, and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products


  • Pass required background checks
  • Requires fundamental analytical thinking skills and good judgement to set daily priorities.
  • Must be a flexible partner of a larger team and work collaboratively.

Pay: $21.63 - $25.59 per hour
