Families, students and community members are invited to attend the annual Thomas Jefferson High School Betterment, Service, Unity Multicultural Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 in the Thomas Jefferson High School cafeteria, 4248 S. 288th St., Auburn.
This is a night of food, performances and new experiences.
Performances include African drumming, Taiko drummers from Kent, hula dancing, slam poetry and more.
Attendees can also sample multicultural cuisines like collard greens, pancit, lumpia, spam musubi and more. BSU club members will provide information on the background of the dances and cuisines. Admission is $2, or two non-perishable items/can goods.
