DESCRIPTION:2nd Annual Reach Out Breakfast Fundraiser Featuring:\n\n\n	Emcee Steve Pool joined KOMO 4 as an intern while attending the University of Washington in the late 1970s and ascended to the First News chief weathercaster. Some of his charity focus areas are causes benefiting Children's Hospital and Youth Eastside Services' Hundred Club.\n\n \n\n	Testimonial Speaker Pamela Bellesen found herself in an abusive relationship that forced her into destructive addictions and coping behaviors. She has overcome many obstacles\, including narrowly escaping living on the street along with her special needs child. Now as an accomplished metalsmith and designer\, she employs four assistants and has a wholesale jewelry business marketing products all around the country. A believer in "paying it forward"\, Pamela also serves as a Youth Mentor with the Kitsap Juvenile Department helping teens build self esteem and also overcome addictions.\n\n	Pay it Forward Honorees Peggy LaPorte founded FUSION\, a non-profit organization that for nearly 20 years has provided transitional housing and support services to homeless families in Federal Way and Tacoma\, particularly women and their children. Peggy has been recognized as the St. Francis Humanitarian of the Year\, Federal Way Citizen of the Year\, Soroptimist Woman of Distinction Award\, Traditional Home Classic Woman Award and she was a Jefferson Award winner for the State of Washington in 2011.\n\n	Teen honorees Caleb Dawson and Jordan Crahan will also be recognized. \n\n	Author Richard LeMieux has a story of his own struggles with profound depression and homelessness. His experiences and connections with the people he met while living on the streets made his book a success that has spawned miracles. Across the nation\, three homeless shelters have been inspired to open their doors because of the book\, and countless individuals have come to better understand homelessness and those living in extreme poverty. Richard will be in attendance and briefly available for autographs and photos after the event
