DESCRIPTION:Join the Chamber as we welcome Curvie Hawkins Jr.\, Project Development Director for Sound Transit for an update on the Tacoma Dome Link Extension Project. \n\n\n\nThe Tacoma Dome Link Extension connects Pierce County to the regional light rail network\, including direct access to Sea-Tac Airport and downtown Seattle\, with stations at Tacoma Dome\, East Tacoma\, Fife and South Federal Way.\n\n\n\nPrior to coming to Sound Transit\, Curvie was Assistant Vice President at the Fort Worth Transit Authority where he managed and directed planning related initiatives of the organization including short\, long and strategic planning efforts. His enthusiasm and impact on to the transit industry led him to be named as a Top 40 under 40 by Metro Magazine\, a national transit industry magazine.
