DESCRIPTION:Back to our Future Together: YMCA Camp Kilworth\n\n\n\nBeen to Camp Kilworth and wonder what's up at the old Scout Camp by Dash Point?   Join us as we welcome Josh Sutton\, Seattle Y Facilities Executive\, for a keynote on the revitalization\, rehabilitation\, and reopening of the Camp in our Federal Way Community.\n\n\n\nKing County grants funded Forterra's 2022 purchase of the 29 acre property\, and the YMCA of Greater Seattle signed a 50 year lease last year.  The Y has begun building local partnerships and coalitions to ensure Camp Kilworth will serve more kids and community than ever\, especially those populations who have historically faced barriers to outdoor recreation.\n\n\n\nPermits are in for Phase 1 projects to get the property ready for Day Camps this summer.  Phase 2 fundraising and plans for the Historical Lodge renovations are underway.
