DESCRIPTION:The Board of Directors invites you to join us for the 2017 State of the Chamber luncheon with keynote from Chamber President and CEO Rebecca Martin\, CCE.\n\n\n\nAs business-led\, economic and civic organizations\, Chambers and their members are impacted by the world's accelerating pace of change.  According to the American Chamber of Commerce Executives\, there are 8 influences shaping the next decade for Chambers of Commerce.  What's on the horizon for the Greater Federal Way Chamber? \n\n\n\nAs an anchor of community leadership\, the Chamber works with business members to support mission-focused programming and business-building events.  What are the new strategic initiatives that will help to focus economic growth in our regional business corridor?\n\n\n\nChamber President and CEO Rebecca Martin\, CCE\, IOM is a nonprofit executive with experience in economic development\, tourism\, education\, business associations\, as well as the public sector.  A Chamber professional\, her career includes results-oriented programming\, enhanced revenue generation\, and legislative advocacy in multi-county markets with MSAs ranging from 29\,000 to 280\,000 to 1.7 million.\n\n\n\nMartin is the only Chamber CEO in the state of Washington with the Certified Chamber of Commerce (CCE) designation from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives-- one of only 6% of Chamber leaders in the country.  She also earned the IOM (Institutional Organizational Management) certification from the US Chamber of Commerce.
