DESCRIPTION:Former Federal Way City Manager David Moseley will offer the Keynote at the Greater Federal Way Chamber's February 7 membership Meeting.\n\n\n\nMoseley was a top hire for Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan\, naming him to her team of key staff members in November 2017.  Moseley serves as Deputy Mayor of Operations for the City of Seattle.\n\n\n\nHe was the City Manager for the City of Federal Way from 1996-2006.\n\nMoseley was the Assistant Secretary to the Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division\, from 2008-2014\, where he was responsible for the management of all aspects of the largest ferry system in the United States.\n\n\n\nPreviously\, Moseley was the Vice President of Institute for Community Change\, a nonprofit organization that helps foundations\, nonprofits and governments manage initiatives. He has held extensive civic positions throughout his career.\n\n\n\nA Seattle Housing Authority Commissioner\, Moseley currently serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees including Pioneer Human Services and the Housing Affordability and Livability Advisory Committee.\n\n \n\nHe has a B.A. in Political Science from Willamette University\, a Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Theological Seminary\, and a Certificate from Harvard University\, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
