DESCRIPTION:How can Federal Way capitalize the opportunities in our food scene\, environmental technology\, and the creative arts?\n\nThe Greater Federal Way Chamber welcomes Nick Smoot\, Executive Director\, Innovation Collective\, for a presentation of findings from their Innovation Economy and Placemaking Report\, at a special business luncheon\, at Staybridge Suites & Holiday Inn Express.\n\nA strong innovation economy is a narrative that acts as an engine for sustainable business growth\, driving creativity\, encouraging entrepreneurship\, and embracing cutting-edge technologies. Placemaking is integral to this vision of economic transformation.\n\nSmoot will share the results of focus groups and their analysis of the area\, identifying start-up and high-growth industry sectors\, as well as optimizing space utilization.
