SUMMARY:Federal Way Manufacturing Industry Listening Session at the Chamber
DESCRIPTION:We are writing to cordially invite you to attend our Federal Way manufacturing industry listening session.\n\nThe manufacturing industry is vital to the Washington state economy. As such\, it is important that the business environment of the state provide an opportunity for the industry to prosper and remain a key contributor to the state's economy.\n\n\n\nAs the state's manufacturing association\, the Association of Washington Business works to ensure the industry is represented fairly in the state. Washington state's business climate\, workforce training needs\, and business expansion are just a few of the issues AWB addresses through its advocacy work and as a representative on several state level boards and organizations.\n\n\n\nThis May and June\, the AWB Institute will hold industry listening sessions across the state to discuss the positive aspects of running a manufacturing business in the state of Washington and what could be done to ensure the industry's continued growth and presence in the state. The goal is to learn about the economic\, regulatory and workforce challenges facing the industry. Input from these listening sessions will be used to guide AWB's work in support of the industry and will result in a follow up report to our 2012 publication\, Challenges & Opportunities for Manufacturers in Washington state.\n\nAWB values your opinion and would appreciate your attendance at the Federal Way listening session listed below:\n\n \n\nFederal Way\n\nJune 5\, 2:30-4 p.m.\n\nFederal Way Chamber of Commerce\n\n31919 1st Ave S\, Ste #202\, Federal Way\n\n \n\nIf you or a designee are able to attend please email or you can reach me at 509-599-0404.\n\n \n\nWe look forward to hearing from you.\n\n \n\n \n\nAmy Johnson\, MHPA\, JD\n\nAWB Institute\n\nStrategic Consultant
