DESCRIPTION:Exclusive Members Only Event\n\nThe Chamber offers the annual Candidate Forum for its business leaders to hear the platforms of those seeking to represent the community as elected officials. The 2019 Forum will feature candidates for Federal Way City Council. The Forum will be moderated by Jeanna Lee Deforeit of the Municipal League Foundation.\n\n\n\nThis is a private\, members-only event and not open to the public as guests. To ensure we provide a comfortable setting for civil discourse for our candidates and our members\, no video\, cell phone photos or recordings of the Forum itself are permitted\, except by the Chamber. \n\n\n\nThe Chamber's annual Questionnaire for candidates for City Council as well as Lakehaven Water & Sewer District\, South King Fire & Rescue\, and the Federal Way School Board will be posted on our website.\n\n \nJeanna Lee Deforeit\n\nJeanna is the Deputy Director at Hanford Challenge\, a nonprofit watchdog and advocacy organization for the Hanford Nuclear Site cleanup. Passionate about non-partisan collaboration and civic engagement\, she serves on the board of directors for the Municipal League Foundation\, where she previously worked as the deputy director. Jeanna is also a founding board member for the Community Health Worker Coalition for Migrants and Refugees. She spends her free time figure skating\, skydiving\, and exploring new cultures through cooking and traveling.
