The 2021 Forum will feature candidates for Federal Way Mayor and City Council.\n\n\n\nThis is a private\, members-only event and not open to the public as guests. To ensure we provide a comfortable setting for civil discourse for our candidates and our members\, no video\, cell phone photos or recordings of the Forum itself are permitted\, except by the Chamber. \n\n\n\nThe Chamber's annual Candidate Questionnaire for Mayor\, City Council Lakehaven Water & Sewer District Commissioners\, South King Fire & Rescue Commissioners\, Federal Way School Board\, King County Council\, and King County Executive will be posted on our website.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR INDOOR CHAMBER EVENTS\n\n\n\nDocumentation of vaccination status must be shown upon entry to the venue.\n\n\n\nVaccinated Participants will need a Vaccination card\, OR a Photo of a vaccination card as a separate document\, OR a Photo of the attendee's vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device. Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.\nUnvaccinated Individuals with a medical condition or a closely held religious belief must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within prior 48 hours of the event. Information to include name of person tested\, type of test performed\, and date of negative test result.\n\n\n\nUnvaccinated registration will need a Printed document from the test provider or laboratory\, OR an Email or text displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory\, OR a Copy of negative COVID-19 antigen test taken 24 hours prior to the event. Self-reported negative test results that are not from a test provider\, a laboratory\, or a health care provider cannot be accepted.\n\n_____\n\nUpon registration\, participant assumes all risks\, hazards\, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness- including\, without limitation\, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria\, virus\, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness\, whether that exposure occurs before\, during\, or after the event\, and regardless of how caused or contracted and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce.

LOCATION:Performing Arts & Event Center To ensure the safety of our business community\, standard protocols related to COVID-19 and its variants will be followed for our public gatherings\, beginning September 1\, 2021 and until further notice. Program participants will be required to provide proof of vaccination or to provide a negative COVID-19 test result within the prior 48 hours for all indoor events. Masks will be required for participants regardless of vaccination status\, except while actively eating or drinking. There will be no separate sections for vaccinated/unvaccinated patrons. These measures are in accordance with state and county health care directives and are in effect to ensure our members remain safe and our businesses remain open.
