A legacy venue of the 1990 Goodwill Games\, King County Parks operates the facility and maintains one of the busiest event schedules in the country including multi-state\, national and international competitions.  It has been the site of four Olympic Trials.  Most major events are nationally televised. \n\n\n\nIn addition to community pride\, the facility generates more than $7 million annually of economic impact from out-of-town guests. Team members travel great distances across western Washington to train at the Aquatic Center. \n\n\n\nA third warm-water swimming pool provides recreation programs for the community.
