They were the first of their family to leave Vietnam in 1984 to emigrate to the United States. An & Mai married in 1989 and bought their first house in Federal Way in 1995. The following year they opened Pho Hoang in Federal Way. They have owned the restaurant for 26 years and have served thousands of Federal Way residents during that time. They have 4 children\; Diana\, Kenny\, Peter & Vivian. Over the last 40 years\, An had had 3 brothers & 1 sister and Mai has had 3 brothers & 4 sisters emigrate to the United State \n\nThey are an American success story like so many other Vietnamese\, Korean\, Chinese and Pacific Islanders and many others that make up the diversity of our Federal Way community.
