South King County Recycling and Transfer Station Project Open House

You’re invited to help design a new recycling and garbage transfer station coming to south King County in 2023

King County’s Solid Waste Division is replacing the aging Algona Transfer Station with a modern facility that will make recycling, yard waste, garbage, and hazardous waste disposal more convenient for south county communities.
The new facility will be located at 35101 W. Valley Highway S., next to the current station. The site was chosen after a multi-year siting and environmental review process.

We need to hear from you to make sure the station reflects your needs.
